In the year 2028, Bishop Enterprises, Incorporated is one of the three largest corporations in the world. It's rivaled only by Kurgan Acquistions Korporation and Madison-Mason Industries. Although the company can trace it's roots back over sixty years to a modest custom-car garage on San Diablo's eastside called B&P Pro Auto, the BEI of today is the world's foremost defense contractor. War materials, however isn't BEI's sole means of profit. A total "sub-corporations" exist within the megaconglamerate, as outlined here.

BEI and the Bishop Family, however, aren't all about profit. They also give back to the community and the world at large by contributing to several charities as well as sponsoring things like junior sports teams and giving top-of-the-line computer systems to local schools.

Bishop Defense Industries-The most profitable corporation within BEI is overseen directly by company president Livie Bishop. They design and manufacture everything from small handguns all the way up to armored personnel carriers. They are credited with the development of several new technologies like charged weapons, thermite plasma and carbonite fibor weave armor. Their most notable development in the works at this time is a new powered armored infantry suit for the US military.

 

 

Bishop Aerospace Industries-Headed by Cameron Becker, BAI develops and manufacturers combat and cargo transportation aerospace craft. Their most successful line is known as the Mustang Class craft. It's a modular VTOL line utilized for various operations including utility, fire support, interceptor, attack bombers and the like. This department holds contracts with several governments and mercenary operations the world over. BAI is also working with Kurgan Acquisitions in the joined venture Bishop-Kurgan Aerospace to develop and manufacturer dropships and shuttles, some of which are capable of making round trips as far out as our system's asteroid belt.

 

 

Bishop Media Group-Headed by Constantine Williams, BEI built this sub-corporation after the fall of Ransom Acquisition Enterprises. BMG controls several radio and television stations the world over and is currently working on developing an internet and cable television provider network.

 

 

Bishop Medicinal Technologies-Headed by Dr. Aurora Schwartz, PhD. BMT is the third largest provider of health care technologies and has a growing division of pharmesuetical development. They've actually made progress with a drug capable of reducing the mass of cancerous tumors without the need for extensive kemotherapy.

 

 

Bishop Electronics Technologies-Headed by Dr. Max Triston, MD. BET is second only to Microsoft in hardware and software development. Their largest project at this time is developing AI technology capable of assisting in the guidance and computer maintaince of Bishop-Kurgan dropships.

 

 

BEI Security Division-BEI Security is responsible for the protection of every BEI facility, project, and even high-profile employees. It's currently headed by Spyder *****. The division is divided into three primary sub-divisions: Security Operatives, Elite Security Guards, and Security Officers. Security Officers are considered the "lowest" on the totem pole. They patrol the buildings, watch the cameras and the like. Elite Security Guards are the iron fists of the Security Division. They are trained by contract by Ramonov's Roughriders in their training facility on the small Carribean island called the Stable. They are skilled in urban and close-quarters combat much like a SWAT team, but through Roughriders training are more closely compared to the US Navy SEALs. The Security Operatives are the most elite of the Security Division, dealing in highly-confidential situations and the personal protection of the company's most senior executives like Livie Bishop. They are most charged with the protection of information and projects within the company and they outrank all other security personnel in the company.

 

 

BEI Transportation Division-Headed by Michael Edwards. This division handles the transportation and distribusion of the company's products and personnel. BEI maintains an impressive fleet of semi-trucks, aerocraft, dropships and the like, usually black and adorning the BEI logo.

 

 

BEI Research & Development Division-Headed by Dr. Scarlett MacNamara, R&D works with every sub-corporation of BEI and assists in the research and development of new technologies for these companies. Within R&D there are numerous semi-divisions, each specializing in a field applicable to one or all of the previously mentioned sub-corporations.

 

 

BEI Human Resources & Public Relations Division-Headed by Matthew Brooks, HRPR is the smiling face of the corporation and responsible for hiring and recording employees and taking care of benefits, salaries, and the like. HRPR also responsible for handling the media and complaints from clients, customers, enviromentalists, and the like. Essentially, they make sure everyone stays as happy as possible.

Drag'nz Racing International-Cyrus Bishop's "baby". Drag'nz Racing International is a world-reknowned racing organization sponsoring events and champion drivers in various events such as street, circuit, rally, euro and even stock, just to name a few. DRI is most at home in San Diablo where they are respected as one of the best underground street-racing groups in California.

Bishop Pro Auto East & West-The roots of the Bishop Empire, BPA specializes in building and maintaining the hottest, fastest custom rides on the West Coast. From under the hood to the vehicle's skin, they can do it all. They also have several stalls on hand to rent on a monthly basis for those that wish to do their own work, but have no place to get it done.

 

Antonelli's Fine Italian Dining-Voted one of the best places to eat by Real SD Weekly, Antonelli's features a primier kitchen and the best service around. They take reservations, but they must be made 48 hours in advance. On the weekends they also feature Maria Torrelli, local known jazz musician, for your dinner entertainment.

 

Burnt Clutch Nightclub-San Diablo's darkest hangout. Burnt Clutch is California's foremost metal club, featuring live local music three days a week. DJ Phetus spins the darkest industrial and house music Sunday through Wednesday.

 

 

San Diablo International Speedway-Every weekend, the lights of SDIS are on, hosting everything from professional stock car races to NIRA evets to even monster truck ralleys. Fun for the whole family.
