We are the Drag'nz.
We are strength, wisdom and unity.
We are individuals. We come to race.
We do not care what kind of car you drive, what part of town you grew up in, what kind of job you have or how much money you have in the bank.
We only care about honor, courage and desire.
We only care about racing.
We are open to those that wish to fall in with us. We are not a country club.
We are not a weekend retreat. We are not a nightly get away.
We are a family.
We are a way of life.
To run with us you must be true to yourself first and those around you second.
You must understand who you are and what we stand for.
When those two ideals meet, you are one of us.
You share our lives.
We are not Bishop Enterprises. We are not the Bishop Crime Family.
We are a force on four wheels. We turn down no challenge and lose no race.
Gasoline burns in our veins. Nitrous fuels our souls.
Are you one of us? Or do you just pretend to be?
We are the Drag'nz.

Two Friends and a One Car Garage

Michael Bishop turned 16 years old on March 19, 1967. From this day on, young Bishop maintained a nearly unquenchable appetite for cars. He loved getting under the hood of any car, tearing it apart and putting it back together. Friends often came to Michael for advise and help fixing their mechanical problems. Seeing the potential to truly be successful in automotive repair, Michael began working out of his parents suburban one-car garage along side high school friend Ricky Parrish. Although it drove his parents crazy, he was making good money in the process. Michael began searching for ways to improve his business.

On September 5th, 1969, Michael and Ricky started going to Meridian State University, majoring in automotive repair and engineering. After graduation in the spring of 1974, both young men were offered jobs with GM, Ford and Chrysler. Both had bigger plans, however, as well as a decent bank roll saved up. It was time to move their operations out of that old one car garage.

Moving On Up

On the outskirts of San Diablos east side, Michael and Ricky found a barn being rented out by a retired farmer and his wife. Spending money mostly on tools and equipment, the pair opened the barn as a garage, living in the loft to save money. Thus was born B & P Auto Repair, opening for its first day of business on March 19th, 1975, Michaels birthday.

B & P Auto became a well known garage in a relatively short period of time and could do everything from oil changes to complete transmission replacements. Parallel to Michaels success was his personal happiness, found in meeting Irene Elizabeth Valeri.

Wedding Bells

Irene had been the daughter of the farmer from which Michael had rented the barn. She was also a business major in college. Over the course of the next six months, the pair fell deeply in love and ended up married on December 25th, 1975.

Separate Ways

Despite the success of B & P Auto, Michaels ambition ended up getting in the way of has and Rickys business relationship. Ricky wanted nothing more than to run the garage as it was, giving big city customers the quality and dedication of a small town garage. Michael, however, wanted more. He wanted a garage dedicated to high performance machines. He wanted to build and maintain the muscle cars of the era. Eventually, unable to find a comprimise, Ricky finally sold out his half of the business to Michael and moved to Meridian.

B & P Auto became Bishop Pro Auto on June 11th, 1976. The shop immediately began specializing in custom built hot rods and muscle cars of all varieties. Business exploded.

A Stork Visits the Bishops

The late summer of 1976 brought an addition to the Bishop household. Cyrus Michael Bishop was born on September 15th, 1976. Seeing a need for the Bishops to have more room and having a desire to move south, their landlord offered to sell the property to Michael for cheap. Michael accepted and he and Irene moved into their new home with the baby.

The Early Days of the Dragnz

Bishop Pro Autos expanding business brought with it hundreds of racers, legal and not, including local street-racer, John West. John and Michael started hosting Friday night get togethers where racers and enthusiasts could come to show off their rides, held at Triple Play of Meridian.

It didnt take long for challenges to get personal and rivalries to form. People broke off into separate groups or teams. Michaels team was known as the Dragnz.

Another Addition to the Family

The Bishop family was blessed with another addition to the family on December 15, 1980 when Michaels daughter Alyssa Irene Bishop was born. Life seemed great and only got better from there.

Unfortunately, the police had closed down their normal Friday night hang out, so the Dragnz needed another place to gather. With things going so well with Bishop Pro Auto. It seemed like the perfect time to make some changes to the shop.

Bishop Pro Auto Expands

Over the course of the next year, Bishop Pro Auto saw major changes. The old barn was tore down and replaced by a twelve car garage in order the accomidate growing business. In addition, Michael constructed a ½ mile long strip behind the garage where the Dragnz could get together and race without legal entanglements. With bleachers, a time tower and even a stage for local bands to play, Bishop Pro Auto became the most popular hang out for street racers in San Diablo.

Trouble in the House of Bishop

Over the years, Michael tried to raise his children the best he could, instilling a sense of integrity, honor and pride. Alyssa and Cyrus were taught to always look out for each other. But no amount of values were able to save the Bishop family.

Following increased tension in the household, Michael and Irene filed for divorce on May 5th, 1990. While Alyssa stayed with her father in San Diablo, Cyrus moved with his mother to the small Northern Californian mining town of Westmount.

Small Town Living

Cyrus hated Westmount. It was a small mining community where high school football ruled. Moving violations were generally limited to speeding on backroads and DUI through cornfields by rednecks in pick-up trucks. Cyrus coming to town changed plenty of that. Within days of his arrival, the local sheriff was breathing down his neck, his high school principal was on his ass, and he had half the school loving him, half of them hating him. It only got worse when he turned 16 and finally got his license. No one could seemingly tame Westmounts badass. Then he met Vegas McDougl.

Vegas was a girl who was a grade behind Cyrus. In high school, they were inseperable. But, unfortunately, a death in the family changed everything.

Death Becomes Them

On July 18th, 1994, Michael Bishop, 43 years old, died of a severe cardiac arrest. A man whod built a business famous throughout California and gave rise to an unstoppable underground street-racing organization left his entire legacy to his son. Tragically, a week later, out of guilt, Irene Bishop, age 42, died of a single gunshot wound to the head.

Having few other options, Cyrus moved back to San Diablo with his sister and took over running Bishop Pro Auto.

Prodigal Son

Cyrus returned to San Diablo, moving into his parents old house next door to Bishop Pro Auto. With Alyssas help and what his mother had taught him about business, he immediately started running the shop. Although a naturally rough start, he handled it well.

In addition to the shop, Cyrus took his fathers place in the Dragnz and earned respect within the street-racing organization. Having the same vision as his father, he worked at making the Dragnz a legitimate racing organization within nationally and internationally recognized groups like the NHRA and IHRA. More plans swirled in Cyrus head, including making Bishop Pro Auto a self-sufficient garage by adding a body shop, glass shop, detailing bay and even a parts department. With the building did business grow. But trouble lied ahead.

Illegitimacy Rules

After moving back to San Diablo, Cyrus lost contact with Vegas McDougl until one day he received a phone call from her at work. He apparently had a two year old daughter named Livie that hed never met. Believing that Vegas was just trying to get her hands on his cash, he fought her in court. It turned into a legal fiasco no one was ready for. Over the years, however things seemed to simmer down between Cyrus and Vegas and he accepted Livie as his daughter and loved her greatly. Livie even came to visit Cyrus in Westmount every other weekend. And Vegas seemed more and more like the girl hed fell in love with in high school. All he needed was the nerve to ask her back. Incentive was on the way.

The Darkest Day

During a trip to an import car show in November of 1999,a drunk driver crossed the median on the Pacific Coast Highway, plowing headfirst into Cyrus SUV. Officers said the force of the impact was comparable to hitting a brick wall at over 140 miles per hour. Cyrus was airlifted to Meridian State University Hospital. He was presumed dead three times in route and at the hospital.

Cyrus had suffered many injuries, and it left him laid up in the hospital for three months and he was unable to race for another five after that. But this incident had brought Cyrus a new attitude toward life. He asked Vegas and Livie to move in with him in San Diablo. Six months later, they were married.

The Stomping Grounds Expand

For years, the Dragnz have been restrained by city limits. But for some time, they had heard about the TRAX of Meridian. They thirsted for competition and one night, invaded Meridian. From that day forward, just as you could see many cars marked with the Dragnz symbol in San Diablo, it was just as often spotted in San Diablo. More than that, TRAX had never put up a decent fight, either. It didnt concern them that their rivals embarrassed them on their own streets, at least that was the way it seemed. Now, the Dragnz dominated not only the streets of San Diablo, but Meridian as well.

The Mob Makes a Mistake

In early 2001, Cyrus sister, Alyssa was assaulted behind a known downtown club. Her assaulters beat her and raped her and left her for dead. A passing patron of the club found Alyssa and called 911. Investigators discovered that the assailants were three men who worked for the Giovanni crime syndicate. Although charged and tried, the three men were not convicted much to the rage of the public. Cyrus would not stand for the injustice and called up two friends to help, Gibson Redkygg and Damian Cole.
Two days later, the three suspected mobsters were each found dead in their homes with three bullets in their chest and one in their head. As the Drag’nz dominated the streets, Burnt Clutch opened and BPA grew, a darker side of the Bishops took form.

Spreading Blackened Wings
Cyrus Bishop and his two companions, though never caught, were responsible for the deaths of numerous bosses and underbosses in the Twin-City area from 2001 to 2006. Anyone who crossed the Bishops or harmed those associated with the Bishops met their end at the hands of Cyrus and his crew, often by twisted and grotesque means. Cyrus kept his actions secret from his family and others in the Drag’nz. He didn’t want his dark life spilling over on his racers or family. Although this built tension between he and Vegas, she accepted what he was doing and understood why it was happening. It wasn’t long before he caught the eye of Detroit mob boss Nicolae Ramonov.

Detroit Crime Moves West
Nicolae began hiring Cyrus and his crew as outside contractors in San Diablo in the year 2007. Cyrus grew close with the old man and learned much about the business from him and his underbosses. Cyrus was the striking hand of Ramonov against anyone in his way from what remained of the Giovanni, the Triad, the Yakuza, even street-level gangs like the Eastside Trece.
In the winter of 2009, Nicolae Ramonov was betrayed by one of his own lieutenants. Cyrus found the old man moments later, clinging to the last threads of life. Cyrus promised to find his betrayer and make him pay. Nicolae made him make another promise that Cyrus didn’t initially understand. He said, “do better than I did in my place.”

Unlikely Promotion
The underbosses of the Ramonov Crime Family met the week following the old man’s funeral to discuss who would be taking over the family. While underboss Joseph Torrelli took over Detroit operations, everyone was surprised as to who Nicolae had chosen to take over the West Coast.

Cyrus Bishop.
The Bishop Crime Family was officially born as Cyrus took the throne. Although reluctant at first, he settled in well. Naturally, there was much opposition to this situation, Cyrus proved to be not only an excellent business man, but one of the best choices to run the family. He ruled with an iron fist and a compassionate heart. Within just the first couple of years, the Ramonov Crime Syndicate gained three fold control over the West Coast, doubled their income and tripled in size. Bishop had more ambition than anyone could have planned, and now with the contacts and resources of the Crime Family, decided to build upon the empire he’d already started.

Bishop Enterprises, Incorporated
The Syndicate had already handed over to Bishop numerous business that were now his to own and control. But their were other places where he knew he could make a lot more money. The first buy that he made was a rundown weapons factory on San Diablo’s eastside. With Vegas at his side and his contacts from the family, he turned the dilapidated factory into a top of the line manufacturer of assault rifles. He built a development team that would design later models. His biggest break was winning the contract of the United States Marine Corps to build their new M8 Assault Carbine. From there, business snowballed.

BEI Grows
From 2011 to 2019, business shot up for Bishop’s Empire. The more money he brought in, the more money he invested in his current business and expansions into other avenues. (See the detailed description of BEI for more information) In 2020, Business Week named Bishop Enterprises, Incorporated one of the top five largest, most powerful corporations in the world. In less than ten years, backed by the Ramonov Family, BEI became a megaconglamerate with it’s hands in defense, aerospace, and computers. In March of 2020, Cyrus Bishop was named one of the top ten richest people in the world.

A Family’s Downward Spiral
Although business was never better for Cyrus, it stressed on his family more than he realized. Between running a corporate empire and a crime family, he had little time for his wife and three children. Work spilled over into his personal life as the Triad moved into town in 2023, attempting to seize all illegal West Coast operations for themselves. In this time, attempts were made on the lives of nearly every member of the Bishop Family. That’s when Cyrus decided to call in a favor from the son of an old friend.
Seth Mercer joined the Bishop Crime Family, working as a hired gun. With him came two of his associates, Chase Reilly and Brian Leary. Just as Cyrus, Damian and Gibson had served Ramonov, so did Seth and his men serve Cyrus. Working together with guns and soldiers from rival syndicate the San Diablo Infernos, they managed to take down the Triad. Afterward, Cyrus made the announcement to his underbosses and lieutenants that he was stepping down from the family and going legit. He was tired of his family constantly being in jeopardy and he was ready to move on with his life.

Breaking Down
Not long after stepping down from the family, Cyrus received an envelope from his wife Vegas. They were divorce papers. This was a bold move, especially from a woman who’d been by Cyrus’ side practically since high school and knew as much if not more than her husband about the less than legal events that had happened over the course of the past twenty plus years. This was just the end of a long string of distancing and animosity between the two of them. Unfortunately, Cyrus could not let her go free with the things she knew. Cyrus shredded the divorce papers and ordered Seth Mercer and his men to kill Vegas.
Vegas disappeared the next day, before Seth and his men could reach her. Rumors were that she’d returned to her family’s estate in Ireland. Cyrus ordered Seth to stand down.

A Moment of Bliss
Despite Vegas’ disappearance, life seemed to return to a relative state of normality. Seth was involved with Cyrus’ daughter Livie. His son Gabriel was engaged to be married to a beautiful young girl named Honor Keane. The races and nightlife of the Drag’nz returned to the forefront. And for a time, everything seemed peaceful. Honor and Gabriel set a date for the wedding. Everything was prepared, but on the day of the event, Gabriel did not show up, leaving a broken-hearted Honor alone at the altar.

Three Years of Hell
A member of the Ramonov crime family came to Cyrus the day before Gabe and Honor’s wedding, saying that his son would be the target of men angry about Cyrus’ lack of backbone in following through with his order to kill his wife. Apparently they were going to attack the wedding because of this. Cyrus, then, sent Gabriel to Europe to stay until things cooled down or he thought of a way to fix the problem. When the truth came to light that the target was Seth and not Gabriel, Seth was sent to Europe as well, to find and protect Gabriel while they rode the problem out. Cyrus convinced Seth to leave without telling Livie anything. The fewer people that knew where the pair were the better. Gabriel and Seth were missing for three years without so much as a word to anyone. During Seth’s hasty departure Cyrus’ eldest daughter Livie came into the unfortunate news of an unexpected pregnancy, there was no question as to who the father was, the question was how to deal the problem. The answer was simple. Livie made the life or death choice of being happy or being alive and married her high school sweet-heart Ryan Harson, despite many peoples objections, due to Ryans profession.

When in Rome
Seth found Gabriel after a couple of months of searching in a small Russian town working in a fish market. Seth kept regular monthly contact with Cyrus, but didn’t tell Gabriel. The pair lived together during this time until word reached them that Vegas had died in a boating accident off the coast of Ireland. Some believed that the death had been faked. Gabriel expressed a desire to pursue the truth and confront his mother as to why she left. Seth knew that if he finished the job that Cyrus had refused him, they just may be able to go home. The pair set out to retracing Vegas’ steps through Europe. After almost two years of searching, their trail lead them to Paris where a nasty turn of events landed the pair in a Tibetan political prison called Ku-Sang.

The Triad Strikes Back
Gabriel and Seth were captured in Paris and transported to a Triad-funded political prison in the soverign province of Tibet, China. The Triad contacted Cyrus Bishop, demanding their territory on the West Coast and associated business turned over to them within 90 days. If Cyrus failed to comply, the boys would be killed. That’s when Cyrus Bishop called in the Roughriders.

.:The Begining of The End:.

Paddy McLachlan was 10 when his parents died in a Train collition accident. Paddy irish american decending from two very different gaelic familes, was born and raised in the heart of south boston. Before he was shipped off to the heart of the country side to live with his fathers parents in westmount california. On their ranch 'Sinful Symphony Ranch.' Unfortunately and perhaps fortuneately, Paddy's only surviving grandparents only spoke gaelic in the home, forcing the boy to speak both english and his native roots. This made life both interesting and challenging. Eventually Paddy got over the grief of loosing his parents at a tender age, moving fast and forward through both middle school, and finally high school graduating at the top of his class with honors, appyling for westpoint and being accepted on a full ride scholarship. Continue the McLachlan men's tradition of being military men. During his final year at west point, spring break occured, and perhaps proved to be the best week of the young mans life. As Paddy and a few of the other boys decided to spend the week in south Boston for st. patricks day weekend

.:The Golden Years:.

It was the night of St. Patricks day, at the boston Irish pub known as McGinty's a local favorite to both locals and irish tourist Alike. Paddy and his boys were there that night drinking plent of pints and singing merrily when the most beautiful dark haired green eyed beauty walked into the room. Paddy had just been blessed by the sight of an Angel. Mallory McGinty the owners daughter, was there to celebrate with her widowed father the first year aniversery of her mothers passing. At first she and Paddy seemed like they were going to end up turning the bar apart, but the lad was so drunk, that he did the only thing he could think of to get her stop argueing, and kissed her. six months, and four days later found the couple happily engaged and madly in love.

Paddy had finished with honors at west point, while keeping Mallory close at hand and kindling the firey passionate love that had sprouted between them. Two years later found, The couple happily married and still madly in love with each other as they had been two years previous. As a wedding gift, Paddys grandparents had signed over the house and ranch to Paddy and his new bride, giving the young couple a home to raise their future family in, even as their first child was on his way into the world.

Patrick Seamus McLachlan entered the world of the Sinful symphony thoroughbred ranch the summer of 1954. Westmount had never seen such happily devoted parents, to a new born baby boy, as Paddy and Mallory spent every waking moment with their child. The years previous to the joyous event in the McLachlans family life war broke out in North and South Korea, The US had gotten involved, and finally Paddy was deployed. During his time away, his youngest and last child Marcus Iian McLachlan was born during the December of 1955.

.:Cain and Abel:.
Paddy returned a changed man, to find his two boys growing up before his eyes. It saddened him, to realize how much he had missed in his time, over seas. Mallory was changed too. No longer did the light shine in her eyes the way it used to. Whild paddy had raised in rank, and had come back Major Paddy McLachlan, all the military rank and fame in the world ment nothing to him if by turning back the clock he could make his wife's eyes shine again.

The years flowed by, with remarkable speed, as the boys grew up on the ranch. Westmount started to grow, as more people discovered the small sleepy town. Patrick had a head for numbers and enjoyed physical labor including taking enjoyment in breeding the horses. While Marcus favored his sports and simply chaseing skirts. The boys couldnt be more different, and more alike if they had tried. High school came, and went as the McLachlan boys streaked through it, always on some level compeating with one or another. It was summer of 1973 that Mallory McGinty-McLachlan was Diagnosed with Cancer. The following Christmas instead of red and green and christmas carols being sung, black shrouded the McLachlan home. Mallory had passed away in her sleep on Christmas Eve.

Majors as he had become known in the home, and in the community of westmount, was sent into a deep state of grieving at the loss of his beloved. Long nights would pass and the boys would often find Majors in the horse barn a bottle of whiskey, just standing silently with his forehead pressed against the neck of Mallory's favored brood mare 'rain-song symphony.' Both boys had taken their mothers death as harshly as their dad. Patrick dealt with his grief by throwing himself into restoreing the ranch and doing repairs, and applying for various schools, he had been accepted at many, even west point. But his heart wasnt in the military, but in fear of bringing further heartbreak to the family, Patrick accepted his acceptence to west point.

Marcus had taken his mothers death perhaps the hardest of all, having known the woman his entire life, and only known his father for a few years into it. He didnt understand how God could let someone so beautiful in spirit and mind, die such a horribly vicious death. He watched as Majors started to deteroiate to alchohal, and grief. He picked up the slack that Patrick had left upon his shoulders on the ranch. His grief slowly turned to anger, which eventually turned to hate. As Marcus began to hate everything that the ranch had once stood for in his life. after Patricks second year at westpoint, Marcus made it known that he wanted nothing more to do with the Ranch.. for the ranching life style was not ment for him.

.:Parting Ways:.
That same week Marcus moved out, having recieved his acceptance letter for San Diablo University. With Marcus gone, and Majors getting on in his years, it became obvious, to Patrick what he would have to do, out of pride and the love of what remained of the family, he quit west point and moved back home, all the while thinking the fruitful relationship he had developed with the sister of his college roomate Serija Phillips had gone to the winds.

Until unexpectedly Serija showed up in westmount looking for the boy who had stolen more than just her heart. Serija was a sweet southern girls with deep southern roots tied into the heart of Mississippi. Serija didnt really know what she was doing in westmount, only that the man who had stolen her heart, was the potential father to any potential children lived there. She expected Patrick to be unhappy to see her and to send her packing but, instead. The unexpected happened. For the first time in nearly 5 years, a womans pressence blessed the 'Sinful Symphony Ranch.' Serija felt immeadiately at ease, and welcome on the ranch as if some part of it had accepted her long before she had accepted it. What was even more surprising was how Majors had taken to the young woman. Until he finally cornored his eldest son, and said in a few words, that Patrick would seal his life by. 'you have a woman who loves you..what the hell are you waiting for boyo?'

That same week Patrick proposed to Serija, and told her in a few words that she too had stolen his heart for she was the only girl he had ever loved.

.:the rest is coming very soon guys... sorry.. I'm just being slow cuz I'm trying not to miss anything at all..:.
